contribute to the publishing of current information in a secure and
user-friendly way without any programming knowledge necessary.
Why Is There A Need For ChurchPilot.com?
This program was developed due to
a dire need for an internet program that is customizable yet
universal and can be used by any Christian church without costing
them a fortune in money or labor. From Protestant to Presbyterian,
Catholic to Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, Orthodox, Episcopal,
Wesleyan, Pentecostal, Amish or Jehovah's Witness. This is absolutely
the simplest and most professional way to obtain and effective web
presence, and to maintain your church's web site.
Why does
ChurchPilot.com serve Christian Churches? This Is Part Of Our Ministry:
Our focus in developing
ChurchPilot is part of our own personal ministry to Christ. We want
the Christian church to succeed, flourish, and build. We wish to
bring the online needs of any Christian Church that wishes to save
money without sacrificing quality and the tools that are needed to:
What will the Church's Web Site
Be Like?:
Every church is different. There
are many different denominations of the Christian Church, each with
different needs and information to post online. ChurchPilot takes all
of these factors in mind, and gives the leaders in the church a
logical and easy way to build and manage new sections, organize and
post their information such as calendar events, photographs, and
documents. Management of all of the information posted online for
your church can be completed through any web browser so that those
responsible for updating the information can do this right from their
home or while on vacation if necessary. The magic of ChurchPilot is
that the content stays current and fresh, building and informing the community.
Online Tools:
Other tools available within the
program include a way to post church bulletins, service dates and
times, current news, a church directory, links, important
announcements, and a way to accept donations and ask for help in a
particular area of the church or the community needing volunteers.
The web site includes customizable pages for the pastor or preacher,
committees, leaders, methods of contact, and the ability to create
and add details to every form of Christian Ministry your church
offers. Every detail of the web site content can be edited quickly by
simple forms. You remain in complete control of the direction and
content of your church's web site.
How will My
Church's web site look?:
The look of every church is
different as well. How your web site looks is incredibly important.
It must be professional and customized for your church. This program
gives you direct access to the web designers you will need to quickly
and economically customize the look of your web site to match the
church using photographs and colors of your choice. The designer will
work with you to create a customized and professional home page, and
a matching look for subsequent pages within the web site.
ChurchPilot.com programming will be installed, and the uploading of
photographs and information can begin immediately.
Who Will
Manage The
Church's Web Site?:
Just as there are many that
contribute to the church, many can contribute to the church's web
site when using ChurchPilot. The person within the church who is in
charge of the overall web site will be the administrator, who can
then select and assign leaders and assistants who can help add, edit
and delete certain information. It is this collective effort that
will make your church's web site strong and filled with applicable content.
-
The Administrator: The
person within the church who oversees the web site, this could be the
pastor or anyone else within the church. This person is given
complete ability to create new sections and pages of the web site,
and to give control others who can also contribute to the web site.
All of this is done easily and efficietly without any prior web
publishing experience!
-
Administrators can set up a web
page ministry, class, group, or cause - and can then assign a person
in the group to manage their particular area. The Administrator can
assign someone the task of uploading the church bulletins or calendar
events. The administrator can then assign a different person to
manage the opening text on the home page and the directions to the church.
-
Leaders: A person who is in
charge of a particular area of the web site as granted from the
administrator. Once the Leader is granted access by the
administrator, the leader can log in with a user name and password to
change items within their section just by filling in a simple form.
Example: The Administrator may create some opening paragraphs, post a
photograph of the class, add important events to the calendar, upload
photo albums, and post special needs the class may have such as
volunteers or items, contributions or special prayers. Having Leaders
is optional.
-
Assistants: A person who
helps the Leader maintain and contribute to certain areas of the web
site. The Leader givens the Administrator access to control a certain
page of the web site, while the Leader can then give access to one or
more Assistants to control particular items on that page. Example:
Dan is the leader of the Adult Christian Education Group. Dan asks
his pastor, the Administrator of the web site, to set up a web page
for this group within the web site. After the Administrator set's up
the web page, he tells Dan his login name and password to access his
area of the web site. Dan can then log in and contribute to the whole
area, and can also set up Assistants to control certain portions of
the web page such as the photo album section or the calendar section.
Having Assistants is optional.
-
Web Designer: Your web
designer is always available to help the Administrator with
customizing and orienting you to how this special programming works.
We ask that there be only one main contact that the web designer will
converse with&ldots; the administrator. The Administrator can pass
all information to the Leaders and Assistants.
Example: An Administrator
can work with a qualified Web Designer to create the overall look of
the web site and create a section in the web site dedicated to the
Church's kindergarten class, and can give leadership password
protected access to the Kindergarten teacher to contribute
information directly to the Kindergarten section. The Kindergarten
teacher can then assign assistants to update certain information
within the Kindergarten section.
